Game Guide
1. Early Game: Foundation Building During the 8-Day Protection Period
You start as a weak spider, and your top priority is to unlock worker ants and core buildings. Prioritize constructing the Incubation Chamber and Worker Ant Habitat— the number of worker ants directly determines the maximum number of buildings you can upgrade simultaneously. Unlocking 3 or more worker ants as early as possible will speed up your development. For resource collection, make precise choices: peaches should first be used to maintain health sustainability, bottles to focus on increasing ATK for early battles, and nectar (stably produced via the Aphid Building) to serve as the core resource for subsequent upgrades.
Follow the principle of "Production > Storage > Military" for building upgrades in the early game: first upgrade resource buildings like Leaf-Cutter Ant Nests and Fungus Gardens to ensure supply, then build Storage Rooms to increase capacity, and finally unlock the Guard Ant Incubation Site to lay a defensive foundation. For the tech tree, prioritize "Efficient Collection" and "Swift Movement"— the former boosts resource acquisition efficiency, while the latter accelerates unit movement speed.
2. Mid Game: Unit Cultivation and Resource Expansion
Before the 8-day protection period ends, you need to establish a military system and unlock new areas. Hatch units in the order of "Guard Ants → Archer Ants → Transport Ants"— these three form a counter loop (Guard Ants counter Archer Ants, Archer Ants counter Transport Ants, Transport Ants counter Guard Ants). Cultivate them evenly to avoid weaknesses. Upgrade Cocoon Medium to shorten hatching time, and use the Soldier Ant Habitat to evolve low-tier soldier ants into high-tier ones, reducing resource waste.
On the resource side, unlock the Travel Bug Habitat for resource exchange to solve supply-demand imbalances; invite friends to water the Mysterious Pea daily to obtain diamonds, which are used to upgrade key defensive buildings like Toxic Mycelium. At the same time, advance the Evolution Mycelium tech, and prioritize researching "Blade Enhancement" to boost soldier ant ATK, preparing for raiding battles.
3. Late Game: Empire Domination and Strategic Advancement
Unlock Scout Ants to activate the reconnaissance function— before raiding, first find out the enemy’s resource distribution and defensive layout, then concentrate troops to break through weak points. Adopt the "Recon → Rally → Raid" model for battles: edit troops at the March Rally Point, launch expeditions at the Special Rally Point, and pair with combat-specialized ants to enhance army strength.
For defense, use a "layered layout": deploy Toxic Mycelium at the nest entrance, set up Spiked Traps on the periphery, and station high-tier soldier ants in the core area. Joining an alliance grants resource support and speed boost buffs, and alliance tech can further improve attack and defense attributes. When natural disasters occur, transfer resources in advance; for the Mysterious Treasure event, prioritize sending worker ants to dig, maximizing the benefits from random events.
Always keep in mind the "Resource-Military-Tech" balance principle: play steadily in the early game, expand proactively in the mid game, and compete strategically in the late game. Only then can you reach the peak of the ant empire.
