Game Guide

The core charm of Stick War Legacy lies in "strategy outweighs numerical values". Many novices get stuck because they neglect resource allocation and unit counter relationships. This guide focuses on key practical combat points to help you quickly seize the initiative on the battlefield.

Resource management is the foundation of victory. At the start, prioritize summoning 2 miners—this gold output just supports basic operations. When gold accumulates to 80 units, add a 3rd miner, which is the peak efficiency in the early stage: too many miners delay army formation, while too few cause resource gaps. If the battle stalemates, pause summoning combat units and add 1-2 miners to widen the resource advantage, but keep 200 gold for emergencies to avoid being defenceless against enemy raids.

Unit matching follows the "tank + damage + control" triangle. The basic combination is recommended as "2 Swordsmen + 3 Archers": Swordsmen absorb damage in the front, Archers deal damage in the back. This low-cost combination fits most early levels. Advanced lineups can include Mages and Giants—Mages' area slow limits enemy formation, while Giants break through enemy defence statues. Note that Giants move slowly and need Swordsmen cover. Pay special attention to counters: use Archers to counter enemy Swordsmen, Mages to suppress Archers, and pair Giants with healers for better sieges.

Tactical execution emphasizes "steady progress + precise adaptation". When advancing, send 1 Swordsman to scout first to avoid ambushes. After spotting the enemy formation, drag the formation to advance as a whole, and manually control Mages to cast skills at dense enemy areas. If the enemy has superior forces, immediately retreat units to the base gate for defence, use the base arrow towers for auxiliary counterattacks, and organize a counteroffensive when resources are sufficient. For high-difficulty levels, use the "wave-by-wave attrition" strategy: send a small number of units to lure enemies and consume their skills before launching the main attack.

Upgrade priority determines late-game combat power. In the early stage, must-upgrade "Miner Efficiency" and "Swordsman Defence"—the former boosts resource speed, the latter enhances frontline durability. In the mid-stage, after unlocking Archers, upgrade "Arrow Damage" and match it with Mage "Skill Cooldown Reduction". In the late stage, focus on upgrading "Base Health" and "Giant Attack" to tackle boss levels and survival mode. Prioritize exchanging rewards for "Statue Bonuses"—global attribute boosts are more cost-effective than single-unit upgrades.

In short, the key to this game is "no wasted resources, no blind unit summoning, no reckless tactics". Master the above skills, and gradually optimize your lineup and operations—you'll then stand firm on the continent of Inamorta and become a true battlefield overlord.
